“Love this place! Clean, off the road a little, quiet area. She definitely made a smaller house feel like there’s a bit of room! Comfy king bed in one room (the other room had a queen bed which my son slept on). Nice size comfortable couch for the living room. ”

“It was a wonderful home. Spacious, lots of amenities, very adequate parking, air conditioning for those hot humid days,quiet neighborhood,etc.. We would reserve this place again. ”

“We loved our stay at the 1840 log cabin! The home itself was beautifully decorated, spotless, and just steps from the main strip—everything was within walking distance. Danny was a fantastic host, super friendly and responsive, and even let us check in early. Highly recommend!”

The listing was just as described, but even more room than I had originally thought. Great place to spread out for the family and centrally located in Gettysburg! We highly recommend for anyone staying in the area. ”

Owner goes above and beyond to make you feel welcome with many snacks/food items and amenities. Especially loved the outdoor courtyard area with fire table. ”

“A wonderful place! Full of antiques and old-fashioned charm. We felt like we were in a cozy antique shop. Every room had delightful treasures to discover. Very tastefully decorated. The kitchen had all the modern conveniences. Each room had its own air conditioner so we could all have our desired temperatures at night. Check- in was effortless. Lisa was very responsive to the questions we had. We would love to stay again!”

The homemade cookies and scones were a great welcome and we appreciated the complimentary coffee and water. It was also nice to have the linens provided and the bathrooms were also well stocked. “We wanted to get out and do some bike rides and play a few rounds of golf, but near to downtown Frederick- the house was oerfect with the two bedrooms and the parking space is key. Wonderful trip, and the house played a big part.”
