“This is a fantastic house, great for a couple freinds or a pair of couples. The bedrooms are large, beds comfortable, and decent baths in each. The common room is spacious and the kitchen updated and modern. Location is great to walk downtown to restaurants and other shops. The one downside is the train. Train runs through Shelbyville all/most nights and blows its horn for several minutes each time. We didn’t notice the earplugs on the table in the entryway until cleaning up at checkout. It……

The bed was a little soft for me and a little short for my tall husband, and the sound on the TV is a little fuzzy, but it was absolutely fine for a few nights. Loved all the cooking pans and being out on the patio. We had both extremes of heat and cold during our visit, and the central heat/AC managed it well. Glad we stayed there!”

“This was a charming cottage that was perfect for our family. The location was central to all we wanted to do and was easily accessible. We realized we wanted to do more than we’d planned. We read where others had commented about road traffic and sounds, however we were not bothered by it at all. The home is well insulated and the noise was not a factor. “Nice hotel with nice clean spacious rooms. Mildly disappointed in the check-in process. Signs on the door directed to an office across the street at another hotel that they no longer have an office in. The room wasn’t stocked with spare blankets either. Even with those two minor issues, the hotel was great. Plenty of amenities in the room. Great location and reasonable prices. ”
