What We Love
Experience the epitome of laid-back living at this lakefront boho-chic cottage. Offering direct access to a quiet lake with a small sandy beach area (inflatable toys are provided!), this hideaway is a great spot to press pause on normal life and go deep into vacation mode. Outdoor enthusiasts can spend time on the water or the nature trails, visit Bok Tower Gardens, and explore back country roads. Launch the provided two-person kayak onto the lake for fun-filled days on the water (four adults, one toddler, and even dog life jackets are provided). Or spend a vacation day at Legoland or Disney World!
After sun-kissed days by the spring fed lake, return home to rinse off in the shower room, conveniently located off the laundry area for easy cleanup. A wood-burning firepit invites cozy conversations under the stars around the campfire with the outdoor telescope.
Inside your retreat, exposed wood beams and ample natural light create a warm and welcoming vibe. Kick back and watch a movie in the living area, and prepare tasty meals in the well-equipped kitchen.
Conveniently located off East State Road 60, your home is on Lake Aurora, just outside the Kissimmee Chain of Lakes and close to a wide variety of local attractions like the Tiger Creek Preserves. Central Florida is famous for its lakes and bass fishing, with many national tournaments held annually. A public boat ramp is just around the corner. The Lake Wales Municipal Airport is also within easy reach.
The property is within distance from the following attractions: Lake Wales Country Club 5.7 miles, Historic Downtown Lake Wales 8.8 miles, Lake Wales Ridge State Forest 12 miles, The Nature Conservancy's Tiger Creek Preserve, 16 miles highway, 5 miles by back roads. For more attractions, Legoland is 20 miles away, Disney World 43 miles, the Epcot Center 47 miles, and Universal Studios 54 miles. All for you to enjoy!

This vacation home has seven-foot ceilings and may not be well suited for tall guests.
If you are bringing a dog on your trip, the nightly pet fee is already included in your quote when selecting 'Yes' to pets. If you would like to add more dogs, please contact us. The $20 nightly fee will apply for each additional dog.
Parking notes: There is free parking available for 2 vehicles.
Security camera details: This home has a doorbell camera, a camera facing the carport, and one at the back door overlooking the backyard.
Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.
