“The property was outstanding. Staff was friendly, the breakfast was good, property was immaculate. Parking was plentiful. But in the main building there was no AC and a tiny window to circulate air. That’s just a selfish opinion but that’s the only minimal complaint if you even want to call it a complaint. More like a spoiled American complaining about nothing. I’d DEFINITELY stay here again. Perfect midway point from Dublin to Galway. And if you decide to get a little lost in Roscommon, well……

“We stayed in Athlone to break up our trip from Galway to Dublin. Hotel is part of a shopping center. They are a large hotel in a small town and they hold conferences there. The staff are friendly and helpful for what you will need. It’s kind of a maze to get around the hotel. The room was tidy and had everything for a nights stay. We did not find the bed very comfortable. Sheets were slightly scratchy. We checked out really early the next morning. The front desk was able to provide us with fresh……
