"I booked this property but I was assigned by the front desk to the sister property across the street. Hotel Playa because supposedly it was quieter. El Flamenco seems to attract young, loud, party oriented travelers. This is a family owned group of properties including a restaurant. They seem to save Hotel Playa rooms (about7-8 rooms) for guests’ overflow This review is for Hotel Playa.Both properties are old and very run down. "Great hotel with easy access to the beach and a variety of bars and restaurants nearby. The facilities are in fairly good shape. Entertainment is provided daily by the staff. Dining options within the hotel are plenty with a cafeteria and a buffet that works for breakfast, lunch and dinner. I tried the breakfast and dinner buffet and both were pretty good. "

"The hotel was excellent and well situated on the main road in Mojacar overlooking the beach. We had to go down stairs to our too and in the evenings it was very dark. The automatic lighting needs to activate more quickly . We would definitely revisit and also book other Parador hotels. "

"End of September the hotel was not full, most older generation. Dinner is served in a partner hotel (not on site). Hotel is ok, pool was nice (only a few guests) Beds are a little dated and hard and the bathroom could use a little redesign because it's a little compact.. Staf were fantastic Close the the beach's and other shops, restaurants and clubs Underground parking was a little expensive so opted for on street instead. Would go again because the are is very nice but would maybe go...

We were offered an upgrad to a sea view room which was a beautiful view but we still had to pay the upgrade charge . You would have thought this would have been complimentary due to the room being free anyway and to compensate for the building work ."

"We booked a room with sea view and it was great, the room was spacious and just as pictured. The place is easy to find using a GPS but beware of the very steep uphill streets. There are about 5 parking spots on-site but 3 of them are covered and the street is so narrow, the person from the hostel recommended parking in the street to avoid risk of being blocked and not able to move our car.
