“Excellent stay at the Holiday Inn Express in Ljubljana. Clean, comfortable room with climate control and windows that open fully for fresh air. The breakfast was exceptional, easily the best I've had from a chain hotel (fresh baked pastries, hot eggs, stewed peppers...all delicious). The Turkish kitchen staff obviously know how to provide a good breakfast! Ample on site parking, and located in a quiet residential area just a short drive from highways and the city centre. Cannot say enough good……

“ I've booked it cos it was the cheapest place in Ljubljana. The location is quite far from the city center, the staff is good and really helpful ,but when I entered my room,I can't find for the air-conditioner remote, the wifi is not working. I called the hostel's phone number,no one ever respond, from my room to the reception is about 10 mins walk , and it was about 11PM at night ,not many lights on the side . So I just sleep with no wifi and no air-conditioner, it makes a bad impression to……

“The hotel is very convenient, just 5mins walk to the central train station and 3mins walk to the CityHotel(meet points for day tour). DM drug stores in just next to the hotel entrance and supermarkets are just 3 mins away. many restaurants around. The bed is big / it’s queen size I think. The room have enough space for putting personal staffs / languages. There are a big common area for drinks and chats. The hotel offers coffee and pastries as well. I think this is a good value for budget stay. ”

“We drove down to Ljubljana from the UK in August 2024 while enroute to Croatia and opted to stay here for 2 days as it had free parking, wasn't far from the city centre and other attractions. Parking onsite can get competitive at times, but we would eventually find a space. There is an onsite bar and restaurant managed by a lovely gentleman who goes by the name of 'Jigga'.... yeah, like Jay-Z. “We received the check-in instruction the day before, everything went smoothly. Parking right beside of the apartment gate, very useful to have the apartment on the ground floor for luggage. Apartment looked new, kitchen has no oven or microwave or dishwasher or washing machine, but well equipped to cook small meals. It is like 2km from the town center or less than 10min drive. Neighbourhood feel safe. ”
