It’s clean, beautifully decorated and quite obviously run with much thought and love. We had such a friendly welcome and Morag was a superb host throughout. The food was freshly prepared and of a goof quality - Morag is a skilled cook. Breakfast comprised choices and my sourdough pancakes with bacon and maple syrup were delicious. Short menu (3 or 4 choices for each course), top quality ingredients and some real flair in the cooking and presentation. Comfy bed, good night's sleep and then a great breakfast - not a ridiculous 'plate busting' Full Scottish, but a selection of impeccably cooked hot items (eg smoked salmon and scrambled eggs) and lots of fruit and cereal and toasted home-made breads.
