“We enjoyed our stay at the Red Door. Tom and Joan were hospitable and friendly, but also were respectful of our privacy. The space itself is nicely renovated and well maintained, especially for a heritage home. We had all the amenities that we needed in the kitchen and the fridge was stocked with breakfast foods for us. Joan was also willing to provide for dietary issues. The neighbourhood is in an older part of London that is in the process of being renewed, so there were some streets and……

“The room was clean, and the staff was helpful - but the space itself was like a boarding house. Not at all in keeping with what one would expect for 2026. I booked the room thinking I was paying in Canadian dollars at $235/night- and was shocked by that price when I saw it in person. BUT: When I learned a few days later that it was $235 USD - $344.90 CAD - I was livid. No place that looks like this has any right to charge almost $350 per night. I would totally encourage you stay there if……
