“Very disappointing and unsafe experience. I booked a room with a king-size bed. From the outside, the hotel looked fine, but when we entered the room, we were shocked. There was a strong cigarette smell, a dirty floor, exposed electrical sockets, and a large hole in the bathroom ceiling. The room clearly did not look ready or safe for guests. We complained and were moved to another room, but received a queen bed instead of the king we booked. The second room still smelled of cigarettes, and……

“The location is good - close to lots of fast food places & shopping centres. Free parking. The sheets didn't look clean, there was only 1 thin towel in the bathroom with a tiny soap bar for amenities. They did give us more cheap towels & soap when we asked. The toilet bowl had a ring inside - looks like it wasn't cleaned in weeks. We had to sanitize everything before we could touch anything. The mirror was cracked, there was moldy wood covering the window in the bathroom. If we could have……

“Location and parking”

“The room was cleaned and cleaned daily throughout our stay, which was lovely. The details, however, are largely overlooked - the bathmat is gross, the one-shag covers for the surround on the round bed have not likely been cleaned or have been cleaned poorly so they're matted, the blankets on the beds are VERY thin. Everything needs an overhaul - the floors, wall paper, etc. regardless of the aesthetics of the room, the cheesiness of the place was AMAZING and the staff were so friendly and……

“It looks like this hotel is being refurbished, but our room hadn’t been hit yet. Old carpet (which seemed clean, but didn’t look clean) and duct tape holding down the carpet at the threshold. One very weird thing is that the elevator to the parking garage stops below the garage and then requires you to pull your luggage up a few steps. Or you can go out the main entrance and use a ramp down to the garage. Just a note that the hotel’s area of town is a bit seedy, not dangerous—just populated by……

“On Expedia, it writes $52 one night, but when you be there, they said the cheapest there is $75 one night. Plus, the blankets there stinks.”
