Top Lower Normandy Hotel Reviews
Hotel Le Lion d'Or et restaurant la Table du Lion
10/10 Excellent
"Excellent property in the heart of Bayeux within close walking distance to the Cathedral, military museum and numerous restaurant and shopping options within minutes walk. Extremely knowledgeable and friendly staff. Spacious and very clean room. Breakfast was robust and overall excellent. Would not hesitate to stay here again. A+"
Churchill Hotel Bayeux Centre
10/10 Excellent
"Staff was amazing! Location was great place especially to meet tour for Normandy--perfect and convenient! Note--if you have luggage keep in mind you may need to carry upstairs as limited ground floor rooms. Clean, air-conditioned, and great location!"
Auberge Saint-Pierre
10/10 Excellent
"The location is great and the room is well furnished. I liked all the light switches. The only drawback is two flights of stairs to the first floor of rooms."
Brit Hotel Caen Nord - Mémorial
8/10 Good
"The hotel was fine, the only issue we had as a family was that that was no lift in the hotel"
Cures Marines Hotel Thalasso & Spa Trouville - MGallery Collection
10/10 Excellent
"Bel hôtel! Emplacement parfait! Superbe!"
Hotel des Bains
8/10 Good
"Good location but parking is a major issue. Breakfast was adequate. Room was a good size. No air conditioning but a fan was available. Sea view was not worth paying for."
Le Relais Saint Michel
10/10 Excellent
"Overall, above average. Need to improve: lots of flies made breakfast scary (it could be hard to avoid flies in the area). Coffee machine was broken. Staff promised repair but never happened."
Le Grand Hotel de Cabourg - MGallery Collection
10/10 Excellent
"Beautiful hotel - classic grand european hotel. On the one side you have the beach and the other side you are right in the center of town. Perfect location. If you plan on using the beach cabanas or chairs you should reserve before you arrive - they sell out well in advance on busy days."
Hôtel Gabriel
8/10 Good
"The Hotel was nice and close to Mont St Michel with the shuttle at a few steps of property. The instructions for arrival and parking were very confusing I left my car at la ‘ferme de St Michel’ restaurant as per instructions while the Hotel did have private parking. I was surprised the Hotel did not have airco but then again on website it was not specified so can’t really blame them. When sleeping 4 the rooms have a queenbed in a second floor room but the stairs were a bit steep and dangerous at night if you have to go to washroom that is on first level only. So keep your kids always in lower floor. Beds were comfy and room was clean had a coffee machine but no complimentary water - we took water from the tap ( fine by me) People at reception were always friendly"
