"We were a large family but there was plenty of room for us all (10 and babies). The location was perfect for anywhere you wanted to go on the island and the house met the highest standards. We had everything we needed for cooking, for washing and for the beach. One hiccup was we lost air condenser the first day but the owner resolved it right away. Not a problem most would ever encounter. Oh, and we laughed at the goats, cows, and birds interacting next door. A calf was born the first day. And we could even see the ocean from a distance! Mahalo!"

"Stayed here after a medical emergency, getting back late from hospital there was almost no parking. There’s a banquet hall next door or connected and it takes a lot of the parking. The hotel was nice, quiet, and the view was nice. "

"Great apartment and property! Short walk to a small beach cove where turtles frequent. Space was clean and had every amenity possible from a laundry basket, to cell phone chargers, sunscreen, and plenty of linens. AC cooled well and was available in both the living room and bedroom areas. Full kitchen was great to have with most all food places closing by 5pm. Bed was very comfortable and large closet offered length of storage space. Would absolutely stay here again when in the Paia!"

"This property is a hidden gem, I would recommend this place to anyone! Don’t let the exterior fool you, the inside is remodeled and is an amazing location! The parking spot, proximity to hidden beach area, and not to mention mamas fish house are top notch!"

"This is a nice apartment to use as a base if you're doing the Road to Hana or want to spend your days out and about on the island. There's a great general store/cafe in walking distance with wonderful coffee, pastries, smoothies, poke, and sandwiches. (A good spot to get picnic items if you're headed to Hana). The downtown of Paia is a short drive away (great food and vibes). This apartment is also an incredibly short walk to Mama's Fish House, which is definitely worth the splurge (get a reservation!) if you're staying here. The apartment itself is as described. Clean and convenient. I'm picky about beds and found this one to be comfortable. We also appreciated the ceiling fan in the bedroom and the A/C unit which kept the whole apartment nice and cool. While the bed is comfortable, I wouldn't say this apartment is one where you want to spend a lot of time hanging out in it. There's limited seating in the living room and the patio table outside is absolutely fine, but it's more basic vs. a comfy place to lounge. But since there is a great beach behind Mama's fish house within walking distance, that's where you'll probably hang out anyway if you aren't out and about on the island or in downtown Paia. (The one thing I will note is that we were disappointed they no longer have beach chairs that you can take with you to the beach. They do however have beach towels). We stayed here for 2 nights as a base for the Road to Hana and it worked out great for us."
