“The place was not stocked up well and the appliances like coffee machine were dirty. Things were minimally maintained abd the beach equipment was so dirty and smelly, I had yo wash the beach towels before using it and beach chairs wete all stained and smelly. But overall it was clean.”

“The biggest issue was the confusing check-in process and inaccurate listing. The actual condo had a different name from the one shown online, and it was located at a different address than the location listed. We had to dig through Expedia messages to find the check-in instructions, and it took us nearly two hours to figure out where to go. When we tried to contact the property the office was already closed, so no one was available to help and we felt completely stuck. The listing also made it……

“Stayed in Kauhale Makai 102 for 7 nights. A few suggestions: -since it is a studio, consider upgrading the refrigerator to a quieter model that does't sound like a noisy engine running right next to you ! - the mattress needs replacing, very saggy in the middle and way too soft”

“The property was stunning with so many flowers and flowering trees and shrubs. The views of the ocean and mountains were breathtaking. The buildings were of solid construction and will last forever. The inside of the condo was very nicely furnished, and we felt right at home immediately. The couches and chairs were quite comfortable! However, the air conditioning unit failed in the living room our first day there. The staff was very responsive and provided us with a temporary replacement……

“Be sure to check the location of the unit you reserve. We hadn’t done so and had to climb two flights of stairs. No elevator. Not a big deal for most, but some senior citizens might have an issue. Housekeeping offered every third day which was nice, but we had to vacate the unit from 9am until noon on those days. Very close to the Shops at Wailea which was great.”
