I had an amazing stay in Cardinal. The room is clean, the towels are feels like fresh from the laundry and the appliances are so useful. I recommend this place because it’s like 15 mins away from shenandoah Thornton Entrance.

Some would say outdated, I say retro! What a pleasant stay we had. Staff was courteous, friendly and definitely wanted to make sure our stay was comfortable. Reasonably priced and convenient for our needs. Would definitely stay again.

Very budget motel for not so budget price. However, the staff was friendly and accommodating, it was clean, beds comfortable. I slept well so can’t complain. Cute town and good location I was able to walk to several nice restaurants. I would stay again I just think it’s a bit overpriced.

Our room was IMMACULATELY clean and roomy. Beds were comfortable. No traffic noise to disturb rest. Since we have allergies, we were glad that the floors are NOT carpeted. Staff was friendly, available, and helpful. Good value for price.

Our experience at cardinal inn: The staff was very nice. He upgraded our room which we did not expect. The room was clean and spacious. We were there just to sleep then move on the next day. All was well except for one issue. I had my toiletries bag on the window ledge (not any space for these things in bathroom) and the next morning there were gazillion ants all over my bag. Unfortunate. Otherwise a great place to stay.

A real treat in Shenandoah Valley

This hotel stay was one of the best. The place itself is very well upkept and clean. The honeymoon suite had its own screened in porch with a nice field view. We loved this place and hope to go back again soon.
