Quite a nice place for the money, room would benefit with some air conditioning in this warm weather. The shower was brilliant although it was over the bath.

Constant noise and heavy fire doors banging until midnight, got woken up by people in the hallway leaving at 6am. The room had a green fire exit light that couldn’t turn off so the room was always lit up even with the other lights off. The lamp in the room was broken. Absolutely no soundproofing anywhere. Plenty of free parking though. Breakfast was included but not a great standard. Bathroom had paint peeling off the windowsills and the shower was slow to drain. There were shower amenities included but did not use them. Bed was comfy

Ideal for Chepstow racecourse. Not much else about the area without walking or taxis. On checki the weirdest thing happened they wouldn’t take payment and told me was a,ready paid for. Rooms we had were small but the bed was comfy. Rooms ok some could do with a lick of paint. Breakfast is ok I’m fussy about food so didn’t eat a lot just toast and coffee but the others in my party had the full English not so sure about paying extra for an extra sausage etc. hotel was very noisy on the Saturday night when we got back from the races doors constantly slamming and banging in the bar area. But we didn’t manage to get to sleep. Check out was as weird as checkin in we tried to pay again the man said no payment and then we couldn’t get our as the hotel was Locked. So if someone from the hotel or expend could contact me about payment would be great.
Great food! Staff are really attentive, nothing is to much trouble. Rooms are clean. Loads of parking.

Friendly staff. Excellent food in restaurant. Propery/Room very dated and needs refurbishment. Room clean, however there were a lot of stray hairs on the bed and the tv didnt work.
We came to sample the Gurka restaurant that's part of the pub/hotel. Excellent food, well worth the visit. Comfy bed, and staff were pleasant and attentive.
Very friendly and helpful staff - highly recommended! Inn/accommodation run by ex-British army (Gurkhas) who have decorated the establishment with regimental achievements.
Booked two rooms at quite short notice Rooms adequate friendly staff and the food and service was excellent would recommend even if not staying we will be using this hotel again if working in the area
