“This is a great place to visit”

“We returned to find our room door wide open. They did not clean the room, remove used towels, or give us clean ones. No hot water for showers all three days. Call front desk no answer. Personal visit to front desk person was rude and only said about the water that a work order would be placed. We finally called the owner, because they said no money back for leaving two days earlier than booked. Owner gave us two days back and rate lower because of cold water for three days. Thankful owner……

“The property is in a beautiful setting but is geared to groups and not individual stays. Expedia said it had a restaurant but it only has one for group stays - in other words - not operating unless group is booked in. However, they did have a free full service breakfast each morning. The property needs cleaning up on the outside. Large hanging spider webs and cobwebs that were unsightly to say the least. The rooms were well maintained and clean. Bathroom extremely small. Good cable tv. ……

“The room is extremely small and the bed is also very small. I booked a king size bed and was given a double bed. My child could only sleep on the floor. No one came to change the bath towels in our room. The accommodation experience was extremely poor.”

“Your basic motel that is a bit of a throwback, e.g. decor that is 20-years out of date. Well located. Clean. Large room. TV worked just fine. Breakfast was a bit skimpy. Nice, helpful staff.”

“Un sucio Motel de carretera barata. La habitación olía a tabaco, el aire acondicionado a moho, la moqueta sucia, las paredes y techos desconchados, la mosquitera de la puerta rota, manchas de moho en el baño, el desayuno era horrible. Para olvidar. No entiendo las valoraciones positivas de este lugar. La habitación que me dieron ni se parecía a las anunciadas. No volvería jamás. Paguen un poco más y descansen en un lugar decente y no esto.”

“Quite area, decent Mountain View’s, wildlife galore, only complaint is shower is an RV type and very small! Customer service and correspondence was easy and just a text away! Would recommend staying here if your looking for a camping like experience with all the amenities!”

“Property is worn and dated, a remodel is sorely needed. However, excellent staff made up for the property’s shortfalls. Breakfast is the usual institutional fare served by everybody else. But again, the staff put their own unique talents to work and improved the flavor, especially the turkey patties which appeared to be fried in some sort of grease. Definitely an improvement over other chains.”
