Wonderful area to walk and enjoy the culture. Don't be afraid to go outside of the Malecon and experience the surrounding area!
Malecon is ok, but beware of the area just outside of Malecon. I would not hang out in Guayaquil by myself again, even during the day.
Must take the Hop On and Hop off
Beautiful at night. Many restaurants.
