“We had a wonderful Memorial Day weekend at the Northwoods cabin! The neighborhood surrounding the cabin was quiet and peaceful so I took advantage of that and went for many walks!Additionally my kids kayaked and paddle boarded in the lake in the backyard. Luckily there was a boat rental, and we were able to rent a pontoon for the day! We had beautiful weather and were able to check out the chain of lakes. I’m not one for swimming in lakes, but the water here was clear and was a great temp! We……

“We loved the property. The deck that overlooks the lake wS wonderful. We spent a lot of time with activities there. The house was well stocked with everything we needed & the hot tub was a special plus to the stay. We enjoyed the area. We are planning to return again.”

“The cabin is clean, just as described, easy to find, and very peaceful back in the woods. Gravel drive to the cabin and small hill, so just make sure your car can manage inclimate weather. Host is very easy to contact and good communication.”

“Four days with 4 adults and 3 & 1 year old. Three year old caught her first fish! She was so excited! Property large and has front and back screen houses which was great because we had some rain. Great supply of games and toys for kids. Beach and playground close and not busy at all. Kitchen well supplied as we cooked every meal. I would definitely recommend this property. ”

“We were happily surprised to find the cabin surpassing our expectations, as listed in the VRBO description. In addition to the hot tub, other features, including the availability of kayaks, paddle boards and the paddle boat, made for a prefect stay in the woods experience for our three generation family; our young granddaughters loved it, as did we!”

“Very cute cabin. Tucked away from the road. The host was amazing and left a goodie basket with candy and treats for are dog. Will definitely book again”

“Rhonda greeted us at the property and she was very kind and friendly. The place is rustic and beautiful! I loved the modern kitchen with all the dishes you need to cook or grill. They even had shampoo/body soap for showering and I love the touch of having makeup wash clothes. We enjoyed camp fires, the lake and the quaint town of Fremont. The place was SO peaceful ! ”

“We rented this house for 10 of us during the Iola Car Show. It was the perfect location. The house is beautiful and had all the room that we needed. It is furnished with all the linens and kitchen items that you would need. We definitely look forward to staying here again. ”

“Was a wonderful getaway with my family. Plenty of space for everyone, indoor and out. We especially loved the lower level game room, lots of fun for all ages. The deck was a nice gathering spot, we saw a mama turkey and her babies. Was nice to be able to prepare meals together without getting in eachothers way.There is a no shoes in the house policy, I would suggest bringing some comfy slippers as most of the house is tile.”
