"The cabin has a lot of problems. The slidingvpatio door bearly works , bottom of door is full of dead bugs , owner left pills on top of fridge, the shower leaked from underneath, the bed was small had 2 box springs so it was way too bouncy. Seemed like the owner had just thrown this together that day. There were dead bugs on floors wasps flying around, animal pee on bedroom floor. The hot tub is in a separate building you have to walk outside to access it. The rarea is very dirty , spider webs , looked like the ceiling tiles are getting ready to fall the light over the hot tub is full of bugs n maybe mold. We got in hot tub then realized there were thousand s of dead bugs in the tub. Scooped out handfulls. The patio door by hot tub was unusable n the bottom looked like black mold. The cover for the hot tub is probably 150 pounds. Dont plan on putting it on alone. The dock pier was dilapitated half sunk. The watercraft that we could use looked like it hadn't benn touched in years I dont think anybody would want to use it. After getting home we both got very sick to our stomachs and bad diarrhea. Pretty sure we got e coli from the hot tub."

"We have family that live in Waupaca and recently we’ve had numerous events over the years where when we come to town, we stay at this hotel. We recently had a loved one passed away and we’ve been there three times in the last month in relation to that situation. The hotel is conveniently located. I feel very safe there. The staff are very good. I find the breakfast is to be good as well. The rooms are always clean and comfortable. We will definitely stay here again in the future when we need to be in town for any family events. The only concern that I would express to the owners of this establishment. The ice machine has been broken on the second floor for over two years. I find that to be unacceptable. We tend to always get a second floor room and I have to walk down to the first floor to get ice every time we’re there. The other issue I would point out to the owner. Is the laundry room Service has been out of order for the last five weeks. When I asked at the front desk, they told me well. The washer works. But the dryer needs to be replaced. I stated well it doesn’t do much good to wash my clothes if I can’t dry them. Overall, I would highly recommend you staying here. No great concerns and would recommend any of my family or friends to stay there."

"The pictures didn’t really match what it actually looked like. They did just have flooding the week before so there was that. We did only pay $69 for the room but wasn’t as nice in person. Breakfast was lame not much to choose from and I creamer for the coffee. That is a big no no for me. Bed was so very firm but I still slept just not well. WiFi was horrible to use not so much that property more on the corporation. It took 10 try’s to get connected. Overall not bad if you don’t want to spend a lot or be to fancy."

"Service and room were great! There was major flooding in the area and hotel was great working with locals (not me) while they dealt with the river rising. Breakfast was sime and good. Rooms were spacious."
