So the hotel is outdated, but that was it really. Staff were polite and courteous, rooms were adequately sized, everything was clean and we had bottled water, tea, coffee and a kettle. Honestly this is a good hotel if you are passing through or aren't fussed with it being fancy. Had a good night's sleep.

Great hotel for a nights sleep in a good location. Area is very nice, don't let the old and tired look put you off. Big room, everything you needed, clean comfy bed, hot shower. Staff were super helpful and friendly. Reception manned 24/7. Included breakfast to take on the go was great. The sausage and bacon baps were great. Ideal for stopping off to sleep and head out in the morning. Plenty of free parking too. Restaurant next door was superb, and very good value.

As a solo female traveller, I felt completely safe throughout my stay. The staff were all lovely, welcoming and attentive, and Albert’s Bar next door was a great bonus. My only criticism is that there wasn’t a fridge in the room, but otherwise I had a really enjoyable stay.

Very easy to find, staff super polite and helpful. Loads of free parking, plenty of shops and places to eat nearby. My friend and I stayed in a twin room (15) and it was great, no issues at all. Hoping to stay again later in the year and definitely recommend

The hotel was very well situated for our needs. We stayed in room 3, ground floor, and was not bothered by the road traffic. Breakfast Grab and Go was pre ordered the night before and was delicious (bacon and sausage bap). Very tasty. The staff was very helpful. This was our third stay at this hotel and would definitely stay again.

Dirty bathroom and bedroom. The corridors and bedroom smelt of an old peoples home urine and sweat. Disgusting condition of the bedroom carpet and bathroom floor, sink cracked, insects dead on bathroom floor. Just a waste of money staying there. Mattress lumpy and soft, beds moved every time you turned over and creaked each time!
