“We had a great time at the studio for our "mini-moon" after our wedding. Very relaxing and the perfect location. We had some problems with the internet, but the local contact was extremely responsive and helpful. We were given a small refund for our trouble with the internet, which we appreciated. “A thoroughly enjoyable stay in a very quiet neighborhood. I particularly loved being able to see the starry night sky and early-morning wildlife while lying in bed. Very well equipped kitchen with a filtered-water tap and abundant supplies of everything (except light bulbs). Put a Sea Ranch visitor pass on your dash and take Vantage Rd for easy coastal trail access. Only 4 miles to Gualala restaurants, groceries, and kayaking.”

“There were three of us - myself, my granddaughter and her partner, along with my little Havanese pup. The house is spacious - we didn't even use the upstairs at all. The kitchen was stocked with necessities like salt/pepper/sugar, various herbs. We enjoyed the hot tub every day and loved seeing a doe and her fawn walk by in the evenings. We watched many birds in the tall trees and felt renewed after our two-night stay. We would definitely rent the house again.”

“We had a great stay and would stay again! The location is amazing, the house was just as great with a few quirks (definitely not deal breakers for us). The claw tub was a bit of a challenge to fill (use the shower head), the wooden bed frame way too squeaky for two people rolling over (had my son sleep in there), slider door in the tv room doesn’t lock that well. None of this affected our trip and it was wonderful, the grounds are beautiful and the bluff was not a concern for us and our kids...

“The views from Shangri-La and private beach access for the property truly were a highlight of our stay. I was a bit concerned with no lockbox access however, upon our 4:30 arrival, we did find the door unlocked. To our surprise moments after walking through the home the host Wendy took it upon herself to let herself in to the house and brought her dog along with her. She did admonish us for wearing shoes in the house, though I read nowhere in the agreements that shoes were not allowed. She let...

“Perfect peaceful respite. The house is beautiful and view from the balcony was breathtaking. There are dear in the neighborhood. Definitely recommend walks. This was one of my favorite stays. We reveled in the woodsy views and beach nearby, albeit cold. Would definitely stay here again. Advise for renters:1) WiFi gets turned off at 10:45am before checkout and cell service is almost non existent in this area. Plan accordingly. We had to wait until we got to an area with cell signal to open maps....

"El personal es encantador... apesar de que no hablo el idioma "solo entiendo algunas cosas :)" su excelecte actitud rompio las barreras del idioma y me atendieron de manera increible, recomendandome lugares para comer y ver... La propiedad es fabulosa, muy antigua (de 1878 aproximadamente), pero esta en excelente estado de conservación. Al entrar me parecio pasar por un portal que me llevo al pasado (jajajaja), pero luego vi a otros huéspedes y al personal con vestimenta moderna y mi fantasía termino :( Me hubiera encantado quedarme mas tiempo para conocer mas de Mendocino el cual es increíblemente hermoso y con unos paisajes al rededor alucinantes... Tambien me quede con las ganas de ver un fantasma en el hotel, pero el personal me dijo que no habian... creo que con mas tiempo tal vez de pueda y muy seguramente me de un infarto, pero seria muy hemosionante. Por ahora sigo mi reto personal de viajar desde Mexico hasta Alaska, pero espero que Dios me permita regresar el proximo año, seguramente con mi amado hijo y tal vez algunos amigos a los que les comparti fotos y le comente lo lindo de el lugar y sus alrededores.
