"Queen's Loft was a nice surprise! I expected a small second-story loft, but it was quite large with a kitchenette, nice roomy bathroom, dining area, living area and 2 king beds (and 2 twin bed that we didn't use), and lots of windows that we opened at night to let the cool, piney-scented air in. What I loved the most was how quiet it was there. Going to sleep breathing piney-scented cool air in complete silence was wonderful....best rest I've had in a long time!"

"It was our first stay in a lighthouse keeper's inn. The room was very clean and tastefully decorated. There was ample light entering the room from both the north and south sides. We stayed for two nights and the kitchen had ample utensils and plates to cook food from scratch and/or warm prepared food.The only thing that we would have had liked would be more rugs on the floor and more mats in the bathroom. "We loved staying here! Clean, cozy, and close to great coffee and Thai food. Diane and Damian were very friendly and welcoming. They heated up our room for us on a cold evening. We had to leave early but Diane brought over granola for us the night before so we could enjoy it for breakfast. Lovely hosts! "

The photos are great, but they still don’t capture how stunning it is in person.From the moment we arrived, the house felt like a real home, not a generic vacation rental. It’s warm, thoughtfully cared for, and clearly loved, which made the whole stay feel more relaxing and personal. The setting is exactly what you hope for on California’s North Coast: beautiful, quiet, and secluded, with a sense of privacy that’s hard to find. It’s tucked away from neighboring houses, so you can actually hear the silence and settle in.Brian was the cherry on top. He was responsive, accommodating, and genuinely kind.
