“When I arrived, the staff could not find my booking. After being there for over an hour, they eventually allowed me to have an inferior room to what I booked. I had to get quite blunt with them and speak to superiors over the phone. It's a good thing I speak Portuguese. They claimed that they don't use Expedia and that someone is posing as them. So they tried to get me to pay a second time (I had already paid through Expedia and could prove as such). AVOID THIS PLACE OR RISK BEING SCAMMED.

The location is perfect if you want to stay right downtown to visit iconic places like the Catedral Nossa Senhora da Conceição (Sé Catedral de Maputo), Conselho Municipal, Casa de Ferro, Rádio Moçambique, etc.It is definitely not a luxury place, but it is a cozy, highly affordable, and secure spot to sleep. My room was entirely clean, the bed was nice, and they provided the basic essentials like shampoo and soap. There is also a small, convenient café and restaurant right near……

“This was my second stay recently. Itbis really value for money. The facilities are very good and the staff is helpful and friendly. Although I speak Portuguese, English is spoken and understood the breakfast is generous and the restaurant has a very good menu for other meals. I highly recommend the Hotel Terminus.”
