“Great place to stay if you have a large family. Lots of room. Water and other amenities were provided. House was clean and had many beds. Full kitchen was the best part for my group of seven. Would absolutely recommend to anyone looking for a quiet getaway. ”

The bottom floors are more old style cabin feel. Lots of firewood. My dog enjoyed all the outdoor exploring. Located in between Marquette and Munising Recommend 10/10. ”

“Wonderful place! Everything was exactly as described. The cabin was perfect for 5 teenage girls and two adults. We had a good balance of “chilling out” and taking in the UP. There was plenty of space for the girls to spread out. The location was perfect - just over an hour to Pictured Rocks and less than 20 minutes to the beaches in Gladstone and Escanaba. “Charlie was a great host. He was very accommodating. The house had everything you needed. From activities to the well stocked kitchen. The only thing you need to bring is your food. The lodge runs on solar power but honestly you wouldn't even know, it really didn't effect how we went about the day. There is so much to do there that I never heard my 4 grankids say I am bored. As for the 4 adult children they constantly were entertained by what the lodge had available. We never left the property...
