“We had a wonderful stay at Ferme de la Rançonnière and would absolutely recommend it. The property is beautiful, full of history, and very well maintained. Our room was comfortable, the grounds were peaceful, and the staff were warm and welcoming. The location is perfect for exploring the Normandy landing beaches while still enjoying a quiet countryside setting. Breakfast was excellent, and the restaurant was also very good. “First of all Bayeaux is one of the most charming towns we visited in France. The location of the Declic hotel is the best in town. You are across the street from the weekly massive market. The market was better than most I've seen in big cities--fresh fish, freshly baked bread, fruit and vegetables galore, tons of cooked food, cheese, meats and lots of hot prepared food too.
