“We decided on this hotel because of the excellent rating on Expedia. Unfortunately it did not live up to expectations. We stayed in one of the family rooms. There appeared to be some water damage and what I assume was black mold in the bathroom. The entire room smelt like mildew. The beds were also quite hard and the pillows lumpy and uncomfortable. “Warm welcome in a picturesque hotel. Personnel was very friendly, spoke English and Dutch. The room itself was very nice. Bathroom was small, but we knew from pictures in advance. The room was clean and the bed was very good. The only real negative was the lack of airco (which we also knew in advance). Breakfast was very good. Products were high quality and tasteful. It’s not a gigantic buffet, as in large hotels, but that’s also fine. It’s quality over quantity. You can sit outside and enjoy……

“We had a very nice stay there. The room was very clean, the location was excellent and the hosts were very nice. Only FYI, there are no elevators, so you have to walk up a few flights of stairs with your luggage, which might be a problem for some people. Overall I recommend it.”
