“Perfect for a late night arrival into Costa Rica. 4 minutes from the airport (I took a taxi, as they don’t have a shuttle pickup). The staff upon arrival was kind enough to help arrange transport to my next location (a ride to Quepos for $200). The shower was amazing - hot water and fantastic water pressure. And breakfast was the best - Nelly was so kind and the food a perfect introduction to Costa Rican cuisine. Enjoyed the pool under the mango tree. Pura vida!”

“They just finished painting the pool edge...looks great. This is our 3 year at the Trapp Family Inn. The only thing that was different was it was warmer than usually in San Jose than in previous years. The rooms were definitely warmer, but we were glad we had ceiling fans. Service, Food, and hospitality were great. We'll be BACK!”

“If you’re looking to reconnect with nature this property is right up your alley , but I must warn you there are some things that left me feeling disappointed. Under property information it states that they provide tour assistance when in reality all they provide is a car service and nothing else you have to do your homework on what’s to do in the area.We were also promised a to go breakfast but at check out there was nothing left for us. The rooms are comfortable but there is no fridge or……

“We loved our stay here. The grounds of the property are beautiful and interesting with lots of birds and butterflies (note there is some small construction going on at the moment but this didn’t affect us). It was a relaxing and peaceful place for a few days with excellent hiking nearby to the waterfalls and river swimming pools. The rooms are spacious and comfortable and the enclosed seating area at the front of each cabin, with fresh coffee provided, was a great place just to sit for a while.……

“Our stay at this beautiful resort started well before our stay. Cindy reached out to confirm our time of arrival, provide directions and caution us on the local roads due to a rain storm that had just passed through. If that wasn’t enough, Cindy then messaged us back to confirm our lodging, advised us how to access the resort and get our selection for the next morning’s breakfast. All this occurred during our drive from Liberia to the Serenity Eco Lodge. Way above and beyond. Our accommodation……
