"We had a wonderful experience. The host was great to work with and accommodated our request to bring a pet after we made our reservation indicating we wouldn't be doing so. The cabin was comfortable. I think my favorite feature was the open concept living room where wecould be together while still engaging in different activities such as reading by the fireplace, wat hing TV, cooking in the kitchen and playing games at the table. The view was great, and while the cabin wasn't right on the lakeshore, we could see the sand dunes and the lake from the cabin. We also liked that the cabin felt secluded due to its long drive even though there were other homes visible. It was a perfect getaway to relax and spend time with family."

"This was probably the best property we’ve rented in the last decade through VRBO. Beautiful location, secluded, safe, and a beautiful home with beautiful views overlooking like Michigan. We will definitely try to stay here again as long as it stays affordable.. great place for a large family with kids and adults to hang out, watch TV, play games."

"We had a great fall break weekend enjoying the colors, cooler temps, and accommodations. We had kids under 10-grandparents with us and this was a perfect fit for all of our personalities. We enjoyed the easy access to the beachfront - walking along the beach - our golden retriever loved tagging along. We utilized the fireplace outside to make smores our first night. The room accommodations worked well for our group of 5. The kitchen and linens were very well stocked. Directions were clear and easy to follow. The walk out basement made it easy for our dog to go in and out (and kudos to the fine details like towels by the door for the paws coming in!). Overall it was a great stay and we'd likely return!
