“Das Haus ist wunderschön, eine ehemalige Schmiede. Der Frühstücksraum ist auch Restaurant am Abend und wirklich beeindruckend. Das Zimmer war groß und passend zum alten Gemäuer eingerichtet. Leider keine Klimaanlage dafür ein Ventilator. Unser Hund konnte mit zum Frühstück und auch abends ins Restaurant. Das Personal war freundlich und zuvorkommend. Das Frühstück war in Ordnung.”

“Tomo muy limpio. Habitación silenciosa Cama y almohadas muy cómodas. El aire acondicionado funciona a la perfección. El acceso, mediante código, muy práctico. Las instrucciones de acceso precisas.”

“Absolutely wonderful stay! My fear when I stay in the area is always humidity/musty rooms… but in Ixua there’s no sign of anything less than pristine. It all looks, feels and is clean. “A lovely setting. Clean facilities. Checking in was problematic as the host had no registration facilities. We never received the email link to check in online causing the host considerable anxiety. Matters were not helped by the host only speaking Spanish.”

“Very friendly staff. Nice room and terrasse. Extremely noisy from traffic, also at night. Excellent breakfast and free ice tea, ice water, sangria, cakes and popcorn all day/evening”

“Good location in the centre of Guernica near bars and tourist office. Room was pretty basic but adequate. Good, hot shower. The bottle of water and tea making facility was a nice touch. Biggest issue was the check-in hassle. There is a note on the door to check-in at the bar next door....but the bar was shut. There were several numbers stuck on the bar windows but it wasn't clear which to use and there was no answer initially. Given my phone was nearly flat, it was a big stress I really didn't……

“The view from the terrace (in our room) was absolutely amazing! Location is perfect, parking was right there and very convenient. The staff was so helpful, when we had to leave early in the morning and didn't have time for breakfast, they packed it so that we could take it with us! And the breakfast was excellent too! Very strongly recommend this place”
