Mendenhall Golf Course Tours

This brand new conversion to an Aviator Suites is the best conversion in which I've ever stayed. The entire hotel property from the exterior to every fixture and piece of furniture was brand new or overhauled. The airport location is a quick car drive from Mendenhall Glacier, Auke Bay (ferry / harbor), and downtown with each less than ten minutes away so you can pack everything in to some long Alaskan summer days. The blackout shades were a very nice touch given those long days. The front desk staff was friendly and helpful. If flying in to the Juneau airport, the hotel is directly after the terminal parking before the cell phone waiting lot. Rental cars or taxis are available at the airport, but you can also walk to grab a delicious diner-style breakfast, lunch, or dinner at Donna's Restaurant immediately behind the hotel. I would highly recommend you stay at this property or another Aspen affiliate when heading to Alaska.

Clean, friendly, comfortable and quiet.

This property is on the outskirts of downtown but is still within walking distance to everything. The breakfast in the diner was excellent and teh view of the harbour from teh diner was very pretty. The room in the bottom floor had a distinct foot odor smell.
