"Pala is nice. The rooms are well maintained, clean and updated. The rack rate is whats expected more or less but I hate paying the resort fee. It’s a ripoff, I don’t care what anyone says nor what excuse hotels use to justify it but whatever, I guess. You’ll enjoy the stay though and it appears they are adding more machines which is great."

"My husband and I stayed at the Fairfield in Menifee on July 14 after the power went out in our neighborhood during 105-degree temperatures. My son from Reno often stays at this hotel and has been very happy with it, especially after they worked through the usual opening bugs. Our stay was wonderful! The hotel is very pretty and fairly new (I think it opened in 2020). We stayed on the top (4th) floor, and it was very quiet that night. The room was spotless, and the beds were very comfortable. The only issue that needed attention was that the USB/120-volt outlet on the dresser between the beds was damaged and inoperable, forcing me to return home to grab a plug adapter. We had a light breakfast before leaving, and the breakfast bar was very well stocked with eggs, sausage, bacon, a delicious little egg and Parmesan quiche, cereal, waffles, oatmeal, yogurt, and a large assortment of toppings along with coffee and juices. There was plenty to get your day started. The young lady at the front desk who checked us in was very sweet and efficient. I'm local to the area, so I probably won't need to stay here again very often, but I will definitely recommend the Fairfield to family and friends. And if we experience another power outage, I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again. It was a very pleasant stay!"
