Beach vibes

Great condo.. perfect for my husband and I. Just steps from the pool to the beach. Check in could have been smoother as I had to wait in line 30 minutes for our parking pass and key fob.. along with the extra 130 charge.

Beautiful View

This one bedroom condo boasts beautiful views of both the ocean and the pool, we spent our mornings on the balcony enjoying the sunrise. A perfect place to rest and relax.

Very nice !

Very nice place and clean. Good location, we walked to Walmart to get a few things. If you’re not familiar with the Ft Lauderdale/Hollywood area the best thing about it is you really don’t need a car at all. Ubers are readily available and is about 15 minute drive from the airport. Keep in mind this is a condo not a hotel, so the check in process is a little different but no big deal. I would stay again !

Best Getaway Ever!

We've had our share of experiences and I have to say that this is by far the best accommodation for us. We had a great time as we relaxed at the beach and then went on to sight see and dine at the nearby eateries. We tried to book again for Labor Day but unfortunately it was already booked. Would love to book again. I'd like to thank Javier and Maria for their hospitality. Thank you!

Nice condo on beautiful beach

The property is attractive and well kept. Pool is lovely, unfortunately it closed at 6:30 pm each day, the ability to swim in the evening would have been very nice. Condo was clean LR, DR and kitchen are updated and welcoming. The one bathroom could use some updating and TLC, a shower door is missing and water pressure is extremely low when you try to use hot water.

My Miami stay

The apartment was very nice and owner was very helpful. We had a problem with the TV when we got there and we called the owner maintenance man Anibal and came right away and still could not get it to work so the owner told him to go buy other one we were so thankful. The only critique is they charge you a 100.00 to park your car in their parking lot. They advertise valet parking, but you park your own car.

As Described, Very Nice

We enjoyed our stay! The apartment is clean and well maintained. The view of the ocean and pool from this unit is beautiful. The kitchen is well stocked with dishes, utensils, cookware, as well as some essentials - coffee, cooking oil, sugar, and other items. The apartment is decorated tastefully. It looks exactly as the pictures in the listing. Although there was a problem with the shower, Javier was quick to respond and send a crew to fix the issue. We hope to come back!

Excellent stay

It was very clean and as pictured. The only complaint we would have is check in. It was super confusing and in check in instructions we were told to call Maria... we called Maria 3 times and left a voicemail. Never did we hear from Maria. That was a little disappointing but we figured it out and enjoyed the rest of our stay!

You can find better

This is one of those places that looks good if you squint and tilt your head. At first glance it seems like a nice place, and the listing makes it out to be nice. However, the place is old and not well kept, you get a view of the ocean but the conveniently crop out the huge eye sore parking garage that is smack in the middle, the elevator attendant is very, very rude and after you book the place they send you a literal manual of instructions on the 10 step process to just get into the place and THEN tell you that you must additionally purchase a $30 key fob (heads up it will say $20 on the check in instructions) to even get anywhere in the building. Lastly, the bed is genuinely terrible to sleep in. They don’t even invest in sheets that fit it. Do yourself a favor and just spend an extra 50 bucks/night and go somewhere nicer that doesn’t try and catfish you into booking.

Overall it was Good

The overall stay was good. The check in process is very confusing as you have no where to park to get you’ve parking fees paid, go inside to get a parking pass and to get a key fob for doors. This is more the resort and not the owners of our unit. A few issues in the unit. Entertainment center door was in the floor when we arrived, one of the double glass doors are missing on the shower, the vacuum in the room was broken so we swept the rug all week to keep it clean and the photo from the balcony has had some touch up work done on it. What looks like a volleyball court in the sand is actually a dark gray parking garage that is no longer in use. The property itself was very clean. The pool is also very nice. Overall it was a good place to be.

Ocean view, good resort

We enjoyed the ocean view!! The resort overall was good - quick elevator access without waiting too long like at other places. We spent a lot of time at the pool and on the beach. We appreciated having beach chairs and an umbrella in the condo to use. We felt safe and secure with the use of fob access to resort areas, including to and from the beach. Registration was a bit confusing as we had to go to the other building. The shower door needs to be replaced - there is only one panel and the other is a shower curtain, which doesn't work to keep the water in. From past reviews it looks like this has been like this for awhile. Time to fix it... The laundry card system wasn't well explained- there is a card in the room that you load money onto by the cafe. The washer and dryer are not in the condo, but in a room on each floor. An overall update of the welcome book would have helped explain a few things without us having to ask the front desk. Overall we had a great stay and will consider the Tides again.

BEAUTIFUL UNIT, BUT....LOW ON SUPPLIES

The unit had a great view to the ocean. The king size bed was real comfortable. Opening up the window at night to hear the ocean waves was awesome. Once we got the shower figured out, it worked fine. You must begin turning the water on from the bottom to the top very slowly until it reaches the temp you desire. Note: do not start at HOT and work towards COLD. Unit was very clean except for the floor. The unit could have used more tp than 2 rolls. Hand towels would have been nice to have as others have mentioned. The kitchen did not have s&p, no spices whatsoever and no cooking oil. One dishwasher pod was left there which was not enough. No baggies, plastic wrap or tinfoil. We stay in VRBO's across the country 4-6X/yr and all of them have these supplies. Except for these few minor inconveniences, the unit was GREAT !!!

Spacious and clean ocean front condo

My wife and I enjoyed our time at this property. Overall it was a good experience. The oceanfront views were great, and access to the beach was super convenient. The location has pros and cons. It is in the more quiet part of Hollywood beach so the beach experience is fantastic but there is little to no eating options in a walkable distance. If you were looking for a lot of night life, be prepared to have to drive. We had to Uber to get food unless you want to eat all your meals from the cafe in the building. The unit is as advertised for the most part. Only complaint with the unit is the bathroom is tiny, with a tiny shower and very little counter space. The only knock on the experience is the check in process. While not quite as difficult as some reviewer‘s have said, it is definitely not easy like checking into a hotel. Also, you are required to pay $35 for a fob to get in and out of the building (which we didn’t know when we booked) and you have to purchase a laundry card from the office and then load it with money to use the washer and dryer. We were under the impression the washer and dryer was in the unit itself, but it is located in the hallway of the floor. There are no laundry detergent included, and only one dishwasher tablet. So plan to make a run to the grocery store to pick up things like dishwasher tablets, soaps, and laundry detergent. overall, we enjoyed our stay. If you’re looking to be on the Broad walk, it is more than 2 miles away. But we enjoyed the quiet neighborhood this condo is located in.

Ft Lauderdale Trip

The building is older but the apartment is very clean and fresh. The view is spectacular! It was very windy while I was there which caused the bedroom noise to be loud but I just wore earplugs. The patio is a great place to enjoy the evening or a walk on the beach is also nice.. Great place to stay.

Below expectations.

Check in was a pain, lots of run around, and extra payments (parking, build fob, parking pass) not stated with rental. Lots of damage in the apartment and not kept up well. Change of adding an extra night not communicated to all needing to know. Beautiful view of the top destruction zone of a parking garage.

Great beach apartment

This place was great for my friend and I to enjoy a couple days exploring Fort Lauderdale. Close to many things and there are close uber/lyft rides to fun areas. Beach, pool close and easy to use. We enjoyed the water taxi and beach boardwalks. We used the kitchen for breakfast and lunch and then explored the local restaurants at night. The shower could use a little water pressure and shower door because you want to get clean after a hot day in the sun. People have also mentioned the instructions for check in being tough but it all makes sense when you get here. Thanks for a great stay.

The unit was just as pictured. Wonderful view! The check in was a breeze and the one issue I had(minor) was addressed within minutes! Everything you need is supplied, along with extras. Will be back next year! Thanks for being a great host!

Post Christmas beach Vacay

The unit was very comfortable with a great view. Had everything we needed. Great kitchen, beach chairs, cooler ,etc. We really enjoyed our stay. Check in process was a bit confusing and detracted from the experience. Also you have to wear wrist bands the entire time which was annoying. All in all would definitely come back.
