Plenty of access to nearby grocery stores, restaurants and pharmacies/convenience stores. Uber trips to UD were also convenient and it was a 15-20 ride to campus. We would stay here again.”

“The best feature of the property was it's location. We wanted to visit historic sights in the Brandywine Valley area and all were within less than 15 miles. The lodgings were large, clean and well maintained. The only issue we experienced was the sliding glass door entrance. It was difficult at times to lock and unlock. The door needs to be replaced. It would make sense to have some brochures, pamphlets, etc of some of the places to visit in the apartment for those visitors who aren't familiar……

“The property was clean, easy to access, and the host was easy to communicate with. The toilet didn’t work upon arrival, so we had maintenance in and out during our stay to fix it. There was also no fire pit in the backyard as is advertised in the photos in this listing.”

“Great location near White Clay Creek park. Pictures of the deck and grill were deceiving since they are not easily accessible from rental unit (walk on steep sloped lawn with no walkway, climb stairs and located right outside of owners living room). Smoke from upstairs drifted into downstairs rental unit. I closed all the ceiling vents and it helped. My fault for not checking that there was no dishwasher. Be aware of excess fees in total price.”

“Place was very clean and quiet. Property was over priced for the area it was located in. Was not able to use the Wi-Fi at all and several attempts to contact the host, came with no response.”

“1. The room was not like the picture. 2. It is basically a small motel with um, unusual guests and a shared bathroom. 3. The air conditioner would not turn on properly. 4. The owner was communicative and nice, so that was a positive. ”

“Had an excellent time at this beautiful and secluded property on the Chester River. Although very private and a lot of outside space to roam, we were still very close to all that Chestertown has to offer. So, it was the best of both worlds. Plenty of amazing scenery and wildlife to enjoy around the property, and Beth is an excellent communicator. If you're a wine drinker, check out a number of close-by wineries like: Casa Carmen, Bu-De, Broken Spoke and Crow Vineyards. Would highly recommend……

“Waterview cottage is comfortable and very clean. The accommodations look new and we had good sleep. The kitchen has most of the necessary equipment for meal preparation. A baking sheet pan is needed. WiFi and Roku TV was excellent. The primary bedroom bed was so tall/high my wife could not get in or out of it. That necessitated sleeping in the 2 twins. Plus, one of the twins was missing the top mini mattress. The view is mostly of the neighborhood street, nearby homes and their roofs and a small……
