Easy walking distance to restaurants & shops. We had a 2nd/storey vaulted ceiling room on the west side. Really nice. It’s a block off main so quiet. Lots of traffic on Main Street so hotels there would be noisier. I’d stay here again. We were here in early March off-season so got a terrific rate which made our experience better. We arrived about 7 pm but the front desk was already closed. They texted us instructions and lucky for us someone was inside to help us get sorted. In fact he was awesome. The breakfast was down the street at a food truck, which beat the usual hotel breakfast, but the seating was outdoors and it was freezing temps that morning. We found the amenities a bit lacking, but not bad for the price point. Despite this, the guests next door complained and knocked on the wall directly, which made me feel very uncomfortable. I understand that noise can travel more easily in connecting rooms, but in this case, the sound insulation between the rooms—especially the gap under the connecting door—was insufficient. I could also hear noises from the neighboring room quite clearly. While the neighbor’s reaction felt impatient, I believe the main issue is the lack of proper soundproofing in the connecting door.
