The facilities are excellent and the hotel is truly beautiful. The property is very well maintained and visually impressive.
However, there is a significant issue: the hotel does not accept U.S. dollars. As an international traveler, this was quite inconvenient. During breakfast, I only had $50 and $100 bills and no local currency, so I was unable to leave a tip. After that, the servers’ attitude noticeably changed and the service became less attentive.
There was another situation that was even more disappointing. On one occasion, my wife stayed at the hotel while I stepped out for work. She did not have the credit card with her at that moment and attempted to order room service. They refused to accept U.S. dollars and also refused to charge the order to the room for payment upon my return. As a result, I had to send her money through Uber just so she could pay. The lack of flexibility and understanding in that situation felt unnecessarily cold and unaccommodating.
Additionally, the front desk staff came across as somewhat rigid and not particularly welcoming.
Overall, the hotel has great potential, but guest service, flexibility, and a more accommodating approach toward international travelers would greatly improve the experience.
