"We enjoyed this cottage for a fall vacation weekend. It’s a nice two bedroom that easily fit my family of 5. The kitchen was well stocked and we took full advantage of the warm weather for some grilling. There is a pretty view of the lake from the house and a small marsh. It was a short walk down a wooded path to the private waterfront area with a fire pit for roasting marshmallows and a large dock. We sat out on the dock and enjoyed the fall colors around the lake. Would have liked an instruction binder accessible rather than pulling up online how to care for the residence and a list of local food delivery/restaurants would have been nice. "We had a wonderful stay!!! The home is absolutely perfect, wonderfully decorated (including the owner’s own lovely artwork!) - everything you’d possibly need is there and available to you. My son and his girlfriend kayaked the entire lake and loved it. We all enjoyed the fire pit overlooking the lake, the covered porch and playing several games of pool in the basement. "We stayed her with our five kids and a dog. The place had a great game room set away from the living room for our three teenage boys to hang out in and be boys. The girls had the living room so plenty of space when they needed a break from each other. It was pretty expensive tho. Figured it would be nice to have toilet paper, some dishwasher tabs, paper towels...basic stuff that most vrbo homes to start out with. All in all it good stay."
