The idea of being in the Tuscan countryside is beautiful until you spend a night at Bosco della Spina. We should’ve spent a little more and gone to another nearby property with more amenities. This property is located about 30 minutes outside of Siena, Taxis from Siena cost €70 each way. One must have a car if staying here. We were first turned off with their extremely uncomfortable bed and pillows. It was easier to sleep on the floor. Then guest services informed us of a €2 surcharge for extra towels for their pool. Seating is very limited in the pool area. Not much to do in the area and public transportation is very limited. The breakfast options are not worth the charge and the dinner is not great.

Really liked this place. Lovely place to take it easy. Covered pool which was great, meant we could actually use it unlike anywhere it seems with an outdoor pool this time of year (October). Not much to do near to the hotel but this I guess is the point of a retreat! They have a restaurant which looked good. Room very comfortable, large bathroom and separate sitting area. Recommended.

Lovely place. We spent 4 nights here and even though it was October and starting to cool off a little - we could still have a swim to finish a busy day. Loved setting and great views from the apartment. Only downside was the WiFi was annoying. It would constantly kick us out and We had to keep logging in many times each day.

Bosco della Spina was wonderful! The service was top notch. Our room was quiet and clean with a beautiful view of the sunrise. Having a delicious restaurant on site was great for the first night when we were too tired to go anywhere else. Parking was super convenient. We hope to be back one day!

We really enjoyed staying here during our honeymoon in Italy. Bosco della Spina was a very pleasant surprise while we were in Tuscany. If you're looking for a relaxed environment in a beautiful setting, look no further. The property has a wonderful view (especially in the evening) which can be enjoyed from your room, walking the property, or from the restaurant/patio. No need to look for a restaurant, the restaurant on site is fantastic with changing daily selection for dinner and lunch. Great inexpensive house wines as well. We really enjoyed using this as a base to drive around the area nearby during the day and relax in the evening. Very friendly staff, clean and comfortable rooms. Lovely infinity pool and deck to enjoy the sun (or sunset). Would be happy staying here again.

Idyllic stay in Tuscany country side
We liked very much this very nice and modern renovated old land house. Apartment was styled minimalistic, but still feels very warm and comfortable. This dog friendly place is ideal for people that like to explore suroundings (Siena is only 25 km away), but stay in the nature. Staff is very friendly. Brefkfast was simple, but offering only good local products.

It was extraordinary. Its location was remote but pastoral and very soothing. It was connected to many important sites in Tuscany such as Florence and Siena in an hour's drive by highways. In the middle of the Italian country side. We found this place while traveling around and found this gem. The rooms we great and the restaurant was fabulous. Only reason they didn’t get prefect was check out was not easy. No one was around for 15 minutes. Other than that we had a wonderful experience. Love the cappuccino designs!!!

Hidden Tuscan Gem!
This place is a hidden gem!!! It is beautiful. Old world feel with modern amenities. Great combination. The restaurant was great with freshly made chocolate croissants . The rooms had a nice stylish feel. Exceeded my expectations. We only stayed there 1 night. I wish we were there for a week. About 15 min from Siena. Feels like the heart of Tuscany. Would love to stay there again.
