Clean room, clean and comfortable bed, great access to the beach. Staff was friendly. This is an older motel… it appears to be as well maintained as it can be.it was nice that we were able to hear the live music from the nags head pier.

I have stayed at this location twice now. I really enjoy our stay when we do. The staff is so friendly and polite. If you decide to stay here you definitely want to try the beach front rooms. In my opinion they are the best! Can’t wait to come here again!

Beds and bathrooms were clean. Staff helpful and friendly . Flooring is uneven so there was a crack under the door. Garbage truck comes by most mornings at 4am and makes a ton of noise!

Good place for a short trip. Walk right out to the beach. The bathroom was tiny especially the shower which is why I say good for a short trip. It seemed clean but I always clean our room when we get there that’s just how I am I’m ocd like that but I would recommend to anyone. Also great price and walking distance to several places to eat and ice cream!

We knew what to expect from this older motel. The location was great. The people were helpful. We had plenty of room. The pool was nice and cool on a hot day. Perhaps I am too particular about my bed, but I could not get comfortable. It hurt my back. We did not have a pet, but this is one of the few places that allow pets.

I’ve stayed here every year for a while now.. I love the people, the location… I love that it’s not all fixed up. However, the giant holes/dents in the walls could use some patching … there could definitely be some upgrades (pull out couches). But overall, it’s always a peaceful place to stay and I’ve never had anything happen in the years I’ve stayed here.

The hotel wasn't bad overall. It's definitely an older property and had a bit of a musty smell, but the location makes up for a lot. It's right on the beach with easy beach access, convenient parking, and it's pet-friendly, which was a big plus for us. The pool was nice and clean, and we enjoyed spending time there. If you're looking for a beachfront stay and don't mind an older hotel, this is a decent option.
