This was an absolutely fantastic hotel. I loved the aesthetic and all of the amenities provided. It was very nice of the staff to provide me with tattoo patches when I hadn't been able to find them so that I could enjoy their onsen. The rooms were in perfect condition and the staff was very accommodating of me trying to communicate in Japanese, switching to very good English when there were words I didn't know or things I didn't know how to say. It's also just a short 20 minute walk from Nara Park. Overall a very nice place.

A very wonderful hotel with a great Onsen experience. The breakfast is something very special. Great location right next to Nara JR station. Only one small issue is the train noise 24/7 but not so bad as to disrupt your sleep.

Fantastic onsen hotel

Onsen was great, very family friendly. Nice extra treats are given after exiting the onsen, and other bonuses like evening noodles felt nice and premium. Only downside was that no children still in nappies/diapers were allowed in the onsen, and the room didn’t have a bath, so it was hard to bathe our 1 year old.

Great location, close to the JR station. We were able to drop off our luggage at the hotel before exploring the city. The hot springs are fantastic, and the breakfast is amazing. Great open ait onsen hotel

First time at an Onsen hotel. The staff was friendly and tried their hardest to communicate with us. Overall a very pleasant first experience and would love to repeat it if I’m ever back in Nara.

I really enjoyed my stay and it was in a great location for walkable dining, shopping, and attractions like Todai-ji and Nara Park. The only disappointment was the zero tolerance of tattoos in the Onsen.

The hot spring onsen bath was delightful! Staff were helpful. We had difficulty finding the hotel on a rainy evening. First night in Japan and we couldn't quite figure out GPS on any of our phones, but once we were in, it was very nice.
