“The staff were cheerful, and helpful. The bedrooms were clean, comfy, with large T.V. Modern ensuite bathroom with choice of bath or shower, AND quality toilet paper. If I was being picky, the only thing thing the bedroom lacked was a fridge and a lift to the 2nd floor. The hotel is also dog friendly and allowed in the bar area if you want food. The hotel carpark, was also operated by a barrier which gave piece of mind. I would definitely use the hotel again if stopping in the area.”

“The hotel is charming and in an excellent location for exploring Shrewsbury. The room was very comfortable. As the hotel is in a very old building you need to be aware of steps and slopes in the floor and the stairs are quite steep (no lift). The bar is good, and the food we had at both dinner and breakfast was of a very high quality. The hotel has a small car park, with quite a narrow entrance. We were fine getting in, but, in any case there is plenty of reasonably priced parking not far away.……

“Crazy tight parking, witnessed one lady crawling through the hatch to get to the driving seat to get her car out. Short staffed, service was slow at the restaurant, took 45 minutes to get a drink, and no they were not busy just untrained people. Young Chef at breakfast had a bad attitude, slamming down dishes and cutlery, completely put me and family off of breakfast. Good location for walking the town of Shrewsbury, and the bus station is next door, so you don't have to unwedge your car from……

The staff at this hotel are very well mannered, attentive and successful in what they do regardless of obvious pressures.
