"The location so close to the surf beach worked very well for us. Also perfect for eateries, whale watching and walks in Point Lookout. It was a bit dark inside due to a broken blind that was permanently down but otherwise everything was excellent. "The property was very clean and tidy, comfortable beds, good linen and pillows, fairly well-equipped kitchen (note there is no oven but a 2 burner portable stove-top that works well). The BBQ was also large and worked well.The property is fairly 'no frills' but exactly as the description states, and good value for money in our opinion. Great location too!"

"We had a wonderful view in our 2 bedroom ocean view room but were a little let down by some of the upkeep of the room. Showers had some mould, some surfaces needed repainting and the roof in the lounge was sagging above the windows. We also kept finding long black hair on the floor. It was good having a vacuum but this was also a little dirty. The rollaway offered was very uncomfortable so we didn’t use it. Springs were missing making it sag and the mattress was stained. The spa was also not hot enough for my liking. We only used it once. The location of the property was amazing. The lobby, reception and pool areas all very clean and tidy. The gym was great too. It was great to have parking available and we were offered a day to park when we had to check out early which was nice. We were disappointed to learn that for the virtual golf that you needed your own golf clubs and that you had to book the movie room taking your own dvd. This was not mentioned on the website and were part of the reason we chose Artique having 3 teenage boys travelling with us. "
