Lovely dinner at a reasonable cost, but had to wait a long time for order to be taken and food served. As we were in no hurry, it didn't matter but, had I been starving it would have been annoying. Raised it with a member of staff who said there was nothing they could do, it was just the season. Room was very comfortable and clean with good quality linen. Dinner was well priced with large servings. The staff were all very welcoming and helpful. Breakfast was tasty with good quality ingredients. Only criticism is that there were no breakfast options for children. Perhaps some cereal on offer would go along way for kids or even just a simple boiled egg with soldiers. Lovely location, nice & quiet. Good menu & food, nice atmosphere. Very comfortable bed.
