"After a long cold and rainy day on the Camino, Manuel picked us up in town. This was a life saver as we were so wet and cold from the walk. Upon arrival there was a welcoming fire and coffee and cookies. We felt right at home. We were the only guest so we were able to enjoy the family room by the fire all evening. "The wood floor in the room was absolutely filthy.Walked across the floor in bare feet,and by the time I got from the shower to the bed the soles of my feet were black with dirt. They obviously vacuum, but they definitely don’t mop the floor. Furniture is really worn out with all three chairs being incredibly uncomfortable.I had to go to the lobby to read(very nice lobby). I’ve stayed in a few other Paradors,and really enjoyed them.Unfortunately this one is not up to those standards. While I was there I looked at a few other hotels close to the Cathedral.They were much nicer and less than half the price."
