Wonderful hotel -- like a palace in a botanical garden! The staff answers your every wish, the food is so delicious and the grounds so beautifully kept that you never want to leave. Views of the sunrise over the water as you eat breakfast are picture postcard. The harbor and flowers, the sound of birds every morning, the elegant decor and original woodwork, all combine in a setting that produces one of the best vacations to Italy I have ever experienced.

Incredible experience here! My wife and I had a last minute booking and the staff were so helpful. The property is beautiful, as was our room, and we really enjoyed our time there. Especially noted was that they were very happy to accommodate vegan diets and offered us some fantastic alternatives at breakfast. Highly recommended!

Staff were extremely attentive, kind and helpful. Breakfast was delicious, in fact each meal was freshly cooked and they were always wanting to do whatever they could to accommodate needs. Whilst the hotel is expensive we couldn’t recommend it enough and it is worth the price.

We stayed at Villa Igiea six nights. The grounds are impeccably beautiful , well kept ,maintained daily and romantic. It is so serene to sit outdoor anywhere on the property daydream, have conversation or have an exceptional drink. The bar is exceptional with its elegance, menu and service.Has historic look. The two restaurants have interesting choice menus each in their own rights and different settings.Me and my family tried several of the offerings, they were all done to perfection. The rooms are well appointed with all the conveniences ,comfort and elegance .Beautiful views of the sea and the port from the balcony. The SERVICE in ALL aspects was delivered on a silver platter We enjoyed our stay immensely. Thanks for ALL the staff that make this Villa glimer !

Concierge and reception staff were very good. Hotel is in a lousy location and has no beach or water access, yet the view is impaired by a jetty and a commercial marina. Food was mostly unimaginative and mediocre. Overall it was not a good value at all.

I would like to recommend it as the #1 best hotel in Sicily. It is unfortunate that the swimming pool is not open, but it has all the advantages of a hotel. All the staff were friendly and the food was so delicious. Although the hotel is old, it was very clean.
