I had high expectations for this resort based on its reputation and beautiful location, but the guest service experience was disappointing.
Housekeeping was inconsistent. Our room was not serviced to the standard expected for a resort of this caliber, and it often felt difficult to get basic issues addressed.
The biggest problem was communication. Guest Services almost never answered the phone. When calls went unanswered, the voicemail mailbox was full, making it impossible to leave a message or request assistance. Calling the resort’s main number was equally frustrating because the automated phone system repeatedly sent callers in circles without connecting to a person. After multiple attempts, we were still unable to reach anyone.
A luxury resort should make it easy for guests to obtain assistance, especially when they are already on the property. Unfortunately, the lack of responsive customer service overshadowed what is otherwise a beautiful setting with excellent access to the surrounding mountains.
The property has tremendous potential, but management needs to improve staffing, maintain functional phone and voicemail systems, and ensure guests can quickly reach someone when they need help. Those changes alone would make a significant difference in the overall guest experience.
