“Hotel is under remodel. Out room had new flooring, but no baseboards. Everything was clean but very tired and worn out.”

“We love staying at the historic places McMenamin’s has restored! Delicious coffee ready for guests in the morning, robes in each room, a comfortable bed and clean room, a restaurant serving delicious food downstairs, all for $100 a night. Can’t find that anyplace I’d want to stay these days. The clean shared bath and the memories of the train whistle outside our room are a small price to pay for such a memorable night away.”

“My wife and I stayed here. The rooms were clean and comfortable, exactly what you need after a long day. It was peaceful and quiet despite being by the highway. The staff were really friendly and helpful, making the whole stay a breeze. I definitely recommend this spot if you're looking for affordable, clean accommodation.”

“Clean and comfortable for a tourney weekend. The La Quinta went above and beyond by making breakfast bags for our kids who had to be at the sports center before 7 am (when breakfast started) and also by offering free EV chargers. ”

“First room I was offered smelled overwhelmingly like cigarette smoke, second one was okay but smoke detectors were all removed, lots of stains on the walls, missing outlet covers and faulty outlets. Not the cleanest beyond a cursory glance. Don’t look under the beds or at the ceiling. Hot water was short lived, property was definitely in need of some repair. Not a great part of town with arrests happening just around the corner and police abundant. Obviously some guests were “long term”. We……
