“The outside is very well maintained and beautiful. Loved the ease of checking in and how you could just use a simple key fob. The suite was clean and had a lot of nice little touches throughout! We enjoyed the fireplace in the living room area as well. The only issue we had was with the shower. The water didn’t seem to stay hot long enough for two people to take showers and it got the floor wet more than expected.”

“The Villa Rose is a nice hotel and offers free parking and access to the facilities at its sister hotel just a short walk away. There are also great dining options and a very nice spa. Staff here were excellent and extremely polite! We unfortunately stayed during a hot spell and the hotel was not equipped to handle that issue entirely. “Depending on how much you pay, this is a good place to stay if looking for somewhere near Donegal Town with parking facility. As a guest house it mainly has classic decor/furniture style and although it feels homely, maintenance needs were evident. Security is relatively basic for a quiet location out of town, particularly room doors operated by key alone. Breakfast service is good as were the staff helpful and welcoming.”
