We stayed in The Horseshoe Suite and it was perfect for a short stay. Our only problem would have been the bath size - small, but the shower was more than adequate. The bed was very large and very comfortable with exceptionally white bed linen, every where was very clean and tidy. The restaurant was superb, great food, lovely surroundings with good prices and finally each and every member of staff were genuinely nice, polite, attentive and knowledgeable people. Stayed in a courtyard room. Immaculately clean lovely big comfy bed. All staff very friendly helpful amazing food. This meant a lot to me as I use a wheelchair a lot of the time, but I was never made to feel I was a nuisance. We would definitely stay again. The only downside for us having young dogs was not an enclosed garden area where they could let off steam. The food was exceptional, we had dinner on the Saturday, excellent menu & very large portions. A most welcoming and friendly hotel situated in the quaint village of Levisham. Hotel has its own garden. Spotlessly clean and spacious rooms. Many of the rooms have private outdoor space with seating. I adjusted but did not come on until the next morning.
