“Positives: fantastic view and very good in-house staff members (that includes service &delicious meals).Negatives:1. Owner (Barbara) lied about the condition of the house after hurricane stating they were NOT affected and have power. Power was restored the day of our arrival. She risked our wellbeing for personal gain.2. AC in master bedroom wasn't working and it was simply impossible to stay in this room. We slept there, sweating but couldn't enter it during the day. Barbra lied to house staff……

“Really appreciated the kindness of the staff and great cooking! Chef Keamary was great at making what we wanted and surprising us with delicious Jamaican cooking. Housekeepers Cavisha and Simone were unobtrusive and got everything tidy. Spacious rooms and nice bathrooms, too. ”

“Overall, we had a great stay at Braata. Jr was very helpful and attentive when anything arose. Rooms were clean, kitchen had plenty of items to cook with, and everything felt very secure. If you are traveling with small children, keep in mind that the property has many stairs. But, with some ingenuity, we were able to make the area safer for our toddler. The water pressure leaves a little to be desired, and the hot water would be called lukewarm at best after 8 pm. However, if you can……

“The property manager was polite and courteous.This property was not in readiness for full occupancy.Some inside walls need ed cleaning and painting;door frame crooked and unable to close leaving spaces for outside critters to gain entry.Aircondition was turnedoff on a daily basis once we leave the house so we return to ahot house each night, at least two evenings We were out of water. The only communal area for a family or group was outside and was lacking a fan and light.The pool did not……

“Breezy Castle is a getaway spot great for people who want either solitude or want to be fully immersed in a local community in a spacious, clean environment overlooking the coast of Pt Maria. You will need a vehicle because the location is quite a distance from the main road, and following Google Maps proved challenging for some. This treasure is not for everyone – if you need to be close to water, afraid of the locals, or bad roads, this is not for you, but if you are looking for tranquility……
