Ohio Street Retreat

Beautifully decorated 2 bedroom home with a spacious island, fully furnished kitchen, dishwasher, washer/dryer and walk in shower. We have internet with smart TVs with several streaming services, and a large variety of flavored coffees to enjoy while playing games provided. We are handicap accessible and pet friendly. We have amenities such as a massage chair,  large back deck with a gas grill and hot tub accessible year round and a pool from June-September.

Girls’ Getaway
This was the perfect spot for our annual girls’ get together! We loved the patio & hot tub! The kitchen area with large island was perfect for visiting & making snacks & drinks! The massage chair was very fun too! Thank you!

Would definitely stay here again.
Many listings can seem to over-sell the condition of the property, or the scope of other benefits the property offers to people staying there. Neither of these things happened for me and my wife during our stay here. I believe the description was undersold in the listing, since the property more than exceeded our expectations. Extremely clean, and neat. All listed amenities were present, and those that we accessed were 100% useful. Definitely recommend this location to anyone considering a stay in the driftless area of WI and/or IA. Would stay here again in a heartbeat.

Beautiful, warm, welcoming home! Interior looked as if professionallly designed. Exceptional clean and well stocked! Communication with owner, Darci, was super—very warm and congenial. There were snacks and coffees laid out for us. Very apparent she takes great pride in her VRBO! We plan to return!

Perfect winter getaway!
I needed a fun little one-night getaway and this place was perfect! Between the cozy vibes, the hot tub, and the massage chair, it was exactly what I was looking for. Would love to come back in the summer for another stay and use the pool!

Quaint and cozy in Prairie du Chein
This was a last minute trip for us and we were delighted to find Darci’s space. The home was very clean, well decorated and extremely cozy. They went above and beyond with all of the essentials they had out for their guests. I’m sad the weather wasn’t better because we weren’t able to enjoy the cute deck in the back. I would certainly recommend this space to others. Thank you.

Clean and Classy
This is a rare find! I place with everything you need to enjoy home away from home. Plus it’s clean, classy, comfy and cozy! If you enjoy being in the kitchen even when on vacation this is the place for you! Darci has taken care to make sure the kitchen is fully stocked with quality items. There were even a couple stacks of mini waffle makers! My husband loved the massage chair!

Pleasant Surprise
This little house was so well done inside. The owners did the work and their design and quality was super. They thought of everything we could have possibly needed and then some. The outside looks inviting for those wishing it too. REALLY enjoyed this home-so fully relaxing and peaceful. Will be staying again. Got to meet the host and just really connected to her. The area was super clean, very spacious for 2 to 4 people, comfortable, and nicely appointed. We loved the coffee/tea bar. The bathroom was clean and generously supplied with towels, soaps, hair products, Q-tips, and cotton balls. The kitchen was clean and well-supplied.The relaxing massage chair and swimming pool were an added bonus. A caution to those with sensitivity to strong-ish scents, the pretty candle display could be a challenge. This is a nice place for a stay in Prarie du Chien and McGregor's Pike's Peak.

Good stay at the blue house!
Very nice, clean and comfortable. Enjoyed the deck in back. Darci had everything there you would need in the kitchen and bathroom. Beds were comfortable. It was located close to everything we wanted to see also.

Close to Wyalusing, lovely town
I had a chance to take my dog to Wyalusing and was looking for a pet friendly house close to the park. This house was perfect. The hostess was thoughtful and quick to respond to any questions that I had. I was greeted with fresh fruit, plenty of towels, huge TVs, a beautiful custom kitchen island, and everything I needed to help me settle in before and after our treks to the park. There are plenty of eateries near the house (Eddie's Irish is my favorite), as well as gas stations, a Walmart, and a grocery store, and the area is easy to navigate. A short walk from the property provides a beautiful view of high hills and many trees. We took a little side trip to Nelson Dewey Park, which isn't too far away. So, we got our money's worth, slept well, and enjoyed our stay. If you have a chance, meet the hostess Darci. She's wonderful. I will go back.

Perfect stay in PDC
This property was perfect for our needs. 2 couples who were exhausted from motorcycle riding for 12 hours. House is nice and open with privacy in bedrooms. Well appointed with all we needed and special touches like coffee bar and healthy treats. The massage chair was enjoyed by all! Host was quick to respond to questions and keep us informed on status of stay. We are already planning a trip back!
