"We had a wonderful stay at Big Meadows Lodge in Shenandoah National Park. The lodge has a cozy, welcoming atmosphere, and our room was clean and comfortable. A couple of areas could be improved: (1) better sound insulation between rooms, as we could hear noise from neighboring guests (TVs, conversations, etc.), and (2) quicker service in the restaurant. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and would happily return!"

"We stayed one night at the Holiday Inn Express on a road trip. It was a great choice. We had a good night's sleep, in a quiet location, and attentive staff. The bed was comfy. TV and appliances all worked. The shower was clean, but a little dated. But again, everything worked. Grabbed a coffee in the morning before we left — pleasantly surprised overall. "

"Although it is old and rustic, the room was clean and the beds were very comfortable. The view from the porch cannot be beat. We ate in the dining room. The food was delicious especially the blackberry cobbler. The service was also excellent. "

"The hotel was very clean and quiet. The staff members were very kind and efficient from checking in and out. We took a shuttle bus from the airport. This is the only complain that I have for this stay. It should be the direct phone number to reach this hotel instead of going through the Intercontinental group number. It was not smooth to get to the hotel shuttle service. "
